International Yoga day 2021, is next week 21st June which carries the theme “Yoga for well-being”. Which is much relevant in the phase of the current pandemic situation. Every year on 21st June united Nations mandatory takes the part to highlight the importance of Yoga to stay mentally, physically, & spiritually fit and at the same time inspire people to live a healthier lifestyle.

The day 21st June is marked to make the people aware of the benefits and advantages of yoga forms, as yoga also continues to grow its popularity across the globe and also people practices in many different forms. But this year, this something that is more important to make people aware of yoga’s immediate impacts on physical health due to the entire world still recovering from the coronavirus pandemic. Also performing Yoga will help people to release covid-19 anxiety.

United Nations on this yoga day is coming with the theme “Yoga for well-being” and promote that yoga can help people to stay calm, healthy, and mentally balanced also & get the strength to fight against the virus too.
 

United Nations states "A growing trend of people around the world embracing Yoga to stay healthy and rejuvenated and to fight social isolation and depression has been witnessed during the pandemic. Yoga is also playing a significant role in the psycho-social care and rehabilitation of Covid-19 patients in quarantine and isolation. It is particularly helpful in allaying their fears and anxiety".
 

United Nations has been offering Yoga in this upcoming international yoga day 2021 to its personnel to express that it’s a great way to deal with mental health and physical health crises during the current situation of the Covid-19 global pandemic. Rather than United Nations, the World Health Organization (WHO) also recommended people to perform different forms of yoga to stay healthy and a good way to take care of their health. The various benefits of Yoga included mindfulness, fitness, flexibility, and relaxation.
